Currently, the Web Filter policies offer a predefined category called "Private IP Addresses," which allows administrators to set specific actions for traffic involving private IP ranges. However, Credential Filters and File Filters lack a similar predefined category, making it challenging to manage policies for URLs that include IP addresses.
To improve flexibility and control, we request the ability to add IP networks in CIDR notation directly into custom URL groups under Credential and File Filters. This feature would enable administrators to allow or restrict credentials over IP-based URLs more efficiently, using netmasks to specify ranges such as 10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, or any designated IP segment. This would streamline policy management for internal or segmented network addresses while preserving secure filtering practices across all filter types.
