It would be useful, if you could "dismiss" the on-screen alert of this type. In my scenario, I received the alert and I worked with the customer to make sure everything is OK. I do want to keep receiving these type of alerts, but since I already "worked it" I want the option to not see it anymore. I do want to keep receiving these and it is ok if they are shown, but I also want the ability to "turn it off", possibly for each individual alert.
